The author has been a Disney fan and not just of Disney movies but also of any kind of fantasy stories or movies. This interest she picked from her father. Along with the interest in the movies, her father has been quite creative in making comics. This fascinated her since her childhood. And not just her father, her mother too made up stories when she was out of one when she and her brother wanted to hear more bed time stories. So, Imaginative writing had been there from both sides of her family. She always admired how one could take us to another world with just their imagination. She wrote small stories and some poetries in Hindi and English when she was in her 5th class. Travelling through train specially was the time when she could think of such things in her ideal time. However, those little creations got lost in her old school notebook’s last pages.
In her teenage, like most of the people in that age, her day dreams heightened and her interest in movies and fantasy stories too. And that was the time when she couldn’t wait for any good fiction movie to sweep her off her feet. She had longings for some more movies after watching a good one already, that was the time when she started imagining and making up stories in her head again that she would have loved to watch. She was so much involved in all this, that even while sleeping, she had dreams on similar patterns.
“Pages of Enchantment” had been a creation of that. She wrote this story when she was in high school. Being a teenager back then, she used to enjoy her day dreaming which ended-up becoming some sort of write up. This story is the first one out of all those imaginations that she could pen down which survived.
